The kindergarten kids get to learn in lots of fun ways.  The k3 class used conversation heart candies to make a graph.  The kids were all given different colors of the heart candies and then we graphed how many we had of each color.  We then discussed which colors had more or less compared to the others.  The best part was that they could eat the candies after!   What a fun math lesson!  -Starr ♡

The kindergarten students had a great time making Valentine rockets.  All three classes enjoyed doing it together.  K3 loves helping the k1 class with the difficult parts.   The kids thought it was so funny to say, “I love you to the moon and back.”   They spent the day saying it to each other.  -Starr ♡

Today the kindergarten classes went to the Ueno Zoo!  We had an awesome time looking at all of our favorite animals.  We look forward to this day every year.  The weather was super nice and everyone had a lovely day.  We can’t wait to go back next year!  -Starr ♡

The kindergarten students really love craft time.  This month the k2 and k3 class made a LOVE pop art craft.  Each design is unique because they all colored in different patterns and hues.   Love is in the air!  - Starr ♡

We had a great time on Valentine’s Day in kindergarten!  We celebrate in the American tradition of girls and boys both giving valentines on the same day.   We don’t celebrate white day in the US.

Each student brought enough chocolate and candy for the kids in their own class.  We made valentine crowns and read a book called “Love Monster”, a story about a monster searching for love.   We had so much fun celebrating kindness and love with our fellow classmates.  I hope you all had a lovely Valentine’s Day as well!  - Starr ♡
