Today’s afternoon topic was Science!  We did an exciting experiment with the American candy, Skittles.   The different groups arranged the candy in different patterns then added warm water and watched the colors blend to make new colors.🌈  The favorite part might have been when the students got to try one of the skittles for themselves. 😏

This was a fun day!  The kids always love activities when they can eat. 😂💕 Today’s morning topic was cooking so we made “haystacks”.  We mixed melted butter, melted marshmallows and chow mein noodles together.  The result was delicious.  Everyone enjoyed them.   See you next time! - Starr 🏖

This was an exciting day!  Our topics were “At the Farm” and Sports.  We learned about the various animals you can find on the farm.  Then we made muddy pigs with brown paint and we sprinkled salt on top to give it that real muddy feel. 🐖  Then for Sports, we learned about the rules of soccer and made our own soccer balls out of paper plates.  A lot of fun was had!

Hello all!  At the halfway mark of our summer school!  Today’s topics were camping and craft day. We learned about the different animals you can see while camping and made adorable owl headbands.🦉  In the afternoon we made some tropical fingerprint pineapples.🍍  Another great day!

Today we had a summer festival where the children got to play with various small games and even got to play with some light shows!

Welcome to Jungle and Rainbow day at Summer School 🌈🐒.

We made handprinted monkeys hanging from vines.  In the afternoon, we colored coffee filters with markers and sprayed water on them and watched the colors spread into beautiful rainbows.  We then added a happy cloud. ☁😊
