We love Halloween here in Kindergarten! It has been fun hearing about the costumes the kids want to wear for Trick or Treat.  Until that day we made some bat headbands to get us ready for that spooky day. 🦇  See you next time! - Starr 🎃

Last week we wrapped up our Ancient Egypt study.  During the month we were doing a special experiment where we mummified an apple.  We started off with two apples, one we did nothing to and the other one we applied a salt and baking soda mixture.  In Ancient Egypt, they used a similar salt mixture as well.  Every week we changed the salt and by the end of the 4 weeks we had a mummified apple!  Everyone was so excited at what we could see.
