Everybody had so much fun at the Christmas event on Saturday!

Children who were a little shy during the last event have become so brave this time round and joined in in all the fun!

Maybe it was cause we had a surprise visit from a very jolly person…

There is still more fun to be had this Friday and it will be our last big event before we relocate to our new home!

Thank you everyone for taking time out of your busy schedules to come to the event and we hope you all have a lovely Christmas!

We have entered December and the kids are already waiting for the man in red to bring them some presents!

Some of the children talk about wanting to see a reindeer and some talk about wanting to eat their favorite food.

Some have not even seen snow for the first time yet so here’s hoping they get a chance to this year!
Until then, they get to enjoy the autumn leaves a just little longer. - Gary

１２月に入ってぐっと寒くなってきましたね。
でも子供達は寒さも何のその。いいお天気の日に公園でたくさん遊びました。

この日は公園内のすべり台で、上ってはすべりで楽しんだり、土の上のありさんを探したりと
都会だけれど自然にふれながら、たくさんお日様の光を浴びてきました。

公園では、子供たちの個々の成長や個性が良く分かります。

遊び始めは怖くて一人ではすべれなかったH君は、一度エイッとすべって先生に思い切り褒められたら
とても嬉しそうににっこり！そのあとは一人でもどんどんすべっていました。

一生懸命、土の上を観察していたE君。ありさんをみつけたと先生に教えてくれました。
他のお友達もE君につられて土の観察会が始まっていましたよ。

ベイビーたちは先生とすべったり、ひたすらお散歩したりと思い思いに過ごしていました。

冬の公園も子供達と過ごすといろいろな発見がありとても楽しかったです！
私は事務作業で屋内での仕事が多いのですが、また一緒に公園へ行って子供達と体を温めたいと思います。

Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a great weekend.

In kindergarten, we love books!  Each month we read lots of books and enjoy special ones centered around our monthly theme. ⭐️

One of our favorite new books this year was called, “Turkey Trouble.”  This is a funny story about a turkey who uses clever disguises so he doesn’t end up on the Thanksgiving menu.  He dresses up like several farm animals and even a pizza delivery guy!  It’s such a cute story and the students made a cute turkey in disguise craft to go along with it.  Our k3 class did a writing activity about which disguise they liked the best.  I wonder what story we will read next!

Hello everyone!  In America we celebrate a holiday called Thanksgiving.  It’s a time for coming together with family and friends and being thankful for our many blessings.  We are so thankful for our wonderful kindergarten students and wanted to share this tradition with them.

For our lunch we had a real turkey, cornbread, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie!  The kids loved whipping up the whip cream and it was a favorite of many. 😉  We were so happy that the kids enjoyed trying new things.

We had a lovely time.  What are some things you are thankful for?
