Preschool is getting excited about joining kindergarten in April.  They love craft time.  They enjoyed using their fingers to make a snowy tree craft.  It looks like so much fun!  I wonder if we will get any snow this year! - Starr ♡

The kindergarten students are excited about Valentine’s Day this Friday but we are trying to stay as focused as we can with our studies. ☺  The k1 kids were practicing letter recognition and phonetic sounds during their lesson.  It was a lot of fun with smiles all around!  Keep it up, K1  - Starr

全クラスで公園に行きましたが、

途中で着ていたコートを脱いで

遊ぶ子もいましたよ！

It’s been rather windy lately.  I hope everyone has been staying warm.   Our K2 class has been having a lot of fun playing a beginning letter phonics game.  The K2 teacher holds up a card and the kids have to guess what letter the word starts with.  The kid who says the correct answer first gets a point!  Looks like they had a great time. -Starr ♡

We learn many things in kindergarten and a lot of it is pretty difficult and above level!  We have been learning lots of grammar like nouns, verbs and adjectives.  We started learning about pronouns this month.   The students had fun sorting the nouns from the pronouns and understood it very quickly!  I’m so very proud of them all!  -Starr ♡

We had a fun day at school as we celebrated the Japanese tradition of Setsubun!  Every year the kids love to chase our “oni” teachers and throw beans at them.  It’s a lot of fun to see the kids in the personalized masks that they make as well.  I think we are ready to start spring now!  - Starr ♡
