We had a fun day at school as we celebrated the Japanese tradition of Setsubun!  Every year the kids love to chase our “oni” teachers and throw beans at them.  It’s a lot of fun to see the kids in the personalized masks that they make as well.  I think we are ready to start spring now!  - Starr ♡

Going to the park is always a good time and the kindergarten students love to run and have a race!  Sometimes they even like to race backwards.  The fresh air always improves our day!  Spending time with friends outside is the best. - Starr♡

Every other Thursday we have a cooking lesson in kindergarten.   This week we decided to make Birthday Waffles for the students who had January birthdays.  The kids enjoyed measuring, pouring and mixing the batter for the waffles, but what they really loved was eating them!  They were super delicious with whip cream and sprinkles on top!

In kindergarten,  the K1 students have been working on letter recognition with uppercase and lowercase letters.  This day they were doing a “letter match popcorn” game.  Each student took turns to come up and match the uppercase letter popcorn to the lowercase popcorn bucket.  They had a lot of fun during this activity~  way to go, K1! ☺ - Starr ♡

Pre-preschool have such a great time every day!  Today they enjoyed coloring Mickey Mouse! It’s such a good activity to help them practice their eye and hand coordination.

Earlier in the lesson they did an ABC and phonics activity.   They love matching the abc cards to the abc blocks.  Great job everyone! - Starr ♡
