Hello all!

Today’s summer school themes were “relay” and “craft” day.  We had a great time during our relay games playing the over under game with a ball and hula hoop scramble!   After that we made a popsicle craft by glueing pieces of tissue paper to a popsicle template.  Everyone had a great time talking about what kind of popsicles they wanted to eat !  - Starr♡

Hello everyone!  I hope you’re all doing well.  We are having a great time in summer school☀️

This day we had a science activity!  This rain cloud in a jar is a weather science experiment that gave our  students a chance to explore clouds and rain in a hands-on and engaging way!

First we got a clear cup of water, put white shaving cream on top and used a dropper to drop blue water on top.  The shaving cream represented the clouds and the water represented the air. The colored water represented rain. As the colored water saturated the “cloud”, it got heavy and eventually is so heavy that it could no longer hold the water. It “rained” down into the jar – through the “air.” It was just like real rain falls through the air.  The kids really enjoyed this and I hope you all did too!  - Starr♡

そんな中のマスク生活。もちろん講師も例外はなく全員マスク。
大人でも、会話中の口の動きや表情で話しの流れを予想している部分はあるかと思いますが
子供にはそれらの情報は大人よりもずっと大事！

というわけで「口見えマスク」を導入いたしました。
ちょっとくちばしのような形状で可愛いですね。（先生の後ろから覗いている僕もSo cute!）
これで今日もLet's enjoy English!

We had another great day in Summer School!  Today was ocean: fish and carnival themes!  We played several carnival games including ring toss and fishing for prizes in the pool.  We had a wonderful time!  Stay tuned for more fun this summer! ☀  - Starr♡

実はこの忍者さんは、在園しているお子さんのお兄さん。(うしろに隠れてますね）
忍者になりきっての、サマースクール初日でした！

Hello everyone!  We are really enjoying summer school~ Today’s themes were gardening and bubbles!  For gardening we started the process of sprouting seeds.  Each child added broccoli sprout seeds to a cup with a dampened paper towel.  In a few days they should begin to sprout.  We sent the cups home with the children so please help them to keep the cups moist.

We also had a lot of fun with bubbles!  Each child had their own cup and straw and blew into the bubble solution to make some incredible bubbles.  I hope you enjoy watching the cute video of their laughter and joy. 💕 -Starr ♡
